What is Julia Business OS?

Julia is the software that runs the day-to-day of a small or mid-sized business — customers, staff, money, scheduling and the paperwork in between. It is shaped around your sector rather than being a blank toolkit: a dental practice gets tooth charts and recall reminders, a moving company gets volume-based quotes and damage records. You can open any of the 18 sector demos without an account.

How much does it cost?

There is a one-off setup fee and a monthly subscription. The exact figures for your plan are shown on the plan page before you pay anything, and the setup fee is stated as non-refundable on that same screen — you tick it deliberately, it is not buried in the terms.

Is there a free trial?

No. There are live demos of every sector with real seeded data, open to anyone, no card and no account. We would rather you spend twenty minutes in a working demo than spend a fortnight in a trial you never had time to set up.

What sectors does Julia support?

Eighteen: auto repair, clinic, dental, veterinary, pet grooming, spa & salon, hotel, restaurant & cafe, retail, e-commerce, moving & logistics, construction, real estate, rent-a-car, manufacturing/export, gym, education and farm. If yours is not listed, ask — but we will tell you honestly if the fit is poor rather than sell you a shell.

Is my data safe?

Each business's data is separated at the infrastructure level rather than by a filter in the code, because a forgotten filter is how leaks happen. Access is logged to an append-only, hash-chained audit trail that cannot be rewritten — not even by us. Momentum staff cannot read your business data.

Can I import my existing data?

Yes. Excel and CSV files, with a column-mapping step so you can see exactly what will land where before anything is written. Nothing is imported until you confirm the preview.

What languages does Julia support?

Sixteen, including Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Greek. Right-to-left languages lay the whole interface out properly rather than mirroring a few labels. Each member of staff picks their own language — a Turkish owner and an Arabic-speaking colleague can use the same account in different languages.

Do I need technical knowledge?

No. Setup is a guided conversation, and you can go back, skip a step or start over at any point. If you get stuck you type the question and Julia answers.

How does billing work?

A setup fee on joining, then a monthly subscription by card. Invoices are issued automatically and kept in the system for the retention period your country requires.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, from Settings, with no phone call and no retention script. Your data is kept for 90 days after cancellation so you can change your mind, then it is anonymised. You can export everything before you go.

What is the Founder Plan?

An early-customer plan with a lower monthly price locked for as long as you stay, plus features that are otherwise Standard-only — multi-branch operation and the social media tools. It exists because early customers take a real risk on an early product.

How does Julia's AI work?

Julia reads your own business data and the rules you set, then drafts, suggests and answers. It does not act on its own: anything that changes your business or reaches your customers waits for you. If it does not know something it says so rather than inventing an answer.

Is Julia HIPAA compliant?

Julia has a HIPAA-ready architecture, which is not the same claim. There is no body that certifies software as HIPAA compliant — compliance is a property of your whole practice, not of a product. What we provide: clinical records stored in your own Google Cloud Healthcare account rather than ours, automatic sign-out of idle screens, access limited to registered practitioners, and an audit trail that cannot be edited. A Business Associate Agreement is signed with each clinic.

Can my employees use Julia?

Yes. You invite them, choose their job role, and they see what that role should see — a receptionist does not open clinical notes. Each person gets their own login and their own language.

Does Julia work on mobile?

Yes. It runs in the phone browser and can be installed to the home screen. It keeps working through a dropped connection and sends the queued work once you are back online.

How do I get support?

The (?) button on any screen. Ask in your own language; if the answer is not something support can settle, it becomes a ticket with the context already attached, so you are not asked to explain twice.

What is Cordelia?

The name of the support layer behind that (?) button. It answers from the actual help material rather than guessing, and when it is not confident it opens a ticket for a human instead of producing a confident-sounding wrong answer.

Can Julia integrate with my existing software?

Julia connects to the platforms your sector actually uses — accounting, delivery, booking and marketplace services, which vary by country. You are shown the ones relevant to your business and country, not a catalogue of hundreds. Accounting exports work with what your accountant already uses.

How does the constitution system work?

Your constitution is the set of rules Julia works by: opening hours, how much discount staff may give, whether a deposit is required, what needs your approval. You set them in plain language during setup and can change them at any time. Julia follows them rather than improvising, and a rule change takes effect immediately.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

It is kept for 90 days so you can reactivate, then anonymised. You can export everything at any time, before or during that window. Invoices are kept longer where tax law requires it — we tell you that rather than quietly deleting records you may need.

Still deciding?

Every sector has a live demo with real seeded data. No account, no card, nothing to install.
