The suite can do it. The question is who will set it up.
The large business suites are more capable than Julia in almost every direction. They are also sold with an implementation partner, because configuring one is a project — and most businesses with eleven staff never finish it. Julia is opinionated instead: the screens for your trade are already there, with the rules of that trade already in them.
What you have now
- More capable, in nearly every direction.
- Configurable to almost any process, given the time.
- Priced per user, per module, with an implementation cost on top.
- Somebody has to own the configuration, and that somebody is rarely free.
- Sector work is usually a partner's add-on rather than the core product.
What Julia does instead
- Nineteen trades with their own screens, already wired.
- Rules a trade cannot do without, in the product rather than in a consultant's head.
- Your clinical records in your own cloud account, under your own agreement.
- Sixteen languages, including the pages your customers open.
When the other choice is the right one
If you have a finance team, a systems owner and processes nobody is willing to change, buy the suite. Julia would fight you. It is built for the business where the owner is also the person who closes the till.
Julia is young. The suites have been shipping for thirty years, and that is worth something on the day something goes wrong.
Look at it before you decide.
