Version: 2026-08-20 v1.0
Governing law: England and Wales
This policy explains how Momentum Digital Labs Ltd ("Momentum", "we") uses cookies and similar storage technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) on momentumdigital.app and inside the Julia Business OS application, and how you can manage or reject non-essential cookies, in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. Some are strictly necessary for the site or application to function; others help us understand usage or remember your preferences, and are only set with your consent.
| Category | Purpose | Consent required |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary (session) | Keeps you signed in to Julia Business OS, maintains your session, protects against cross-site request forgery. Without these, the application cannot function. | No — legitimate interest / necessary for the service you requested |
| Preferences | Remembers settings such as your chosen interface language, theme, and (where offered) cookie-consent choice, using localStorage rather than a server-set cookie. | No, for strictly functional preferences that don't track you across sites — but you may still reject non-essential preference storage via cookie settings |
| Analytics | Julia Business OS uses Umami, a privacy-focused, self-hosted analytics tool. Umami does not use tracking cookies by default and does not sell or share data with third parties — it counts page visits and general usage patterns on our own infrastructure, not on a third-party server. | Treated as non-essential; blocked until accepted where a cookie-consent control is active on the page you're viewing |
| Payment (third-party) | When you subscribe or pay, Stripe (our payment processor) may set its own cookies during the checkout flow to prevent fraud and complete your payment securely. Stripe acts as an independent controller for this processing — see Stripe's own privacy and cookie policy. | Necessary for the transaction you initiate |
| Transactional email (third-party) | Our email provider (Brevo) may use tracking pixels/links in transactional emails (e.g. to confirm delivery). This is not a browser cookie set on our site, but is disclosed here for transparency. | Governed by your email client's own settings, not this site's cookie banner |
Strictly necessary cookies and storage are used because they are essential to provide the service you have asked for (PECR regulation 6(4) exemption; UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b), necessary for performance of a contract). Non-essential cookies (analytics, and any future marketing or personalisation cookies) are used only with your consent (PECR regulation 6; UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
Where a cookie-consent banner is active on the page you're viewing, you can Accept, Reject, or Manage Preferences at any time via that control. You can also control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though doing so for strictly necessary cookies will prevent Julia Business OS from functioning correctly (for example, you will not be able to stay signed in).
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies and storage we use or legal requirements. The version date above reflects the most recent update.
