How to connect MiniMax

  1. Go to minimax.io and sign in. The English site is at the .io address; the .com one is in Chinese.

  2. No account? Register with your email.

  3. Open your account settings from the menu at the top right.

  4. Find the API keys section. MiniMax shows two things: an API key and a Group ID. You need both.

  5. Create a key, then copy the key and the Group ID.

  6. Paste both into the boxes below and press "Test connection".

If something goes wrong

If it says the key is wrong: copy it again and check there is no space at the start or end. A key pasted from an email often picks one up.

If it says the group is wrong: the Group ID is a separate value from the key, on the same page. Copying the key into both boxes will not work.

If it says billing or quota: add a payment method on the provider's own site. Julia cannot add credit on your behalf.
